About the Founder, Diana Putterman: A Dominican/Brazilian from Manhattan, Ms. Putterman traveled abroad extensively with her foreign born parents earning her an early and profound appreciation for the beauty and resilience of our human diversity, creating the foundation for a kaleidoscopic view of the world.
Since working her way through college as a social worker on the border of San Diego and Tijuana, Diana has been in the business of advertising and marketing including 10 years in broadcast sales, management and start-ups with CBS, Malrite Communications and Pacific Broadcasting in the San Francisco Bay Area.
In 2004 she fast forwarded her entrepreneurial life when her good friend, Ali Shepherd became her business partner. Together they grew the Latino Group until her untimely death in 2007. Diana continued growing and guiding the business to today’s iteration, Turnstile.
Diana resides in Corte Madera, CA, has two grown sons and a beloved dog, Porter. When she’s not working she is traveling to far flung corners of the planet or taking another class towards a masters in humanities.
